Description
Mission: To advocate self-awareness within the community, specifically the Latino community, by promoting student relations through the utilization of social, cultural, and academic resources. Goals: 1) Encourage good communication so students can build professional relationships with other students, faculty, and the community 2) Motivate and support the students to transfer and succeed in their future educational goals. 3) Encourage students to become familiar and to utilize student services on campus. 4) Provide members with resources such as scholarships, leaderships opportunities, and Internships 5) Encourage long lasting relationships in order to develop a strong support system. 6) Create a safe environment for students to speak freely without judgement, resulting in personal growth.
