Why do chapters need donations?
The Sacramento State Alumni Association has close to 20 active chapters. Our chapters provide the opportunity to develop professional networks, advance social interests, volunteer in the community, engage with students, continue your education and reconnect with your alma mater. Through the efforts of their members, each chapter hosts activities, mentors students and many award scholarships. To accomplish these programs and support students, alumni chapters rely on donations in addition to funding provided by the Alumni Association, to keep expanding and serving more alumni and students.

Alumni Chapters at Sacramento State
The Sacramento State Alumni Association has close to 20 active chapters. Alumni Chapters are organized to promote the Alumni Association’s goal to strengthen, enhance, and maintain connections to Sacramento State and each other through diverse programming. Chapters represent groups of Hornets who are passionate about Sacramento State and have a desire to be involved.
Alumni Association Chapters offer you a way to get involved with an extended community of Hornets who have shared common experiences. Chapters provide alumni opportunities to connect around engaging educational programming, fun social activities, rewarding philanthropic events and networking opportunities to build professional connections.
