Donations are applied to...

The mission of Camp Kesem is to support children through and beyond a parent's cancer. The donations raised will go directly to funding the free week-long summer camp for the kids, which will take place July 30 - August 4.

Why are donations necessary?

Having a parent with cancer often causes children to grow up quickly and assume roles of maturity and responsibility beyond their years. Here at Kesem, we believe kids shouldn’t have to become little adults – they should be out playing, having fun, and loving life. But sometimes kids do have to grow up too fast - and that’s why we are participating in ND Day. Thanks to your generosity, kids across Mishawaka can experience the magic of Kesem. If only for a week, they can just be kids again - without having to worry about explaining what they’re going through. They can build relationships with other campers and counselors that provide a support system to help them through their difficulties and celebrate with them in their successes.
