About 1842 Day
1842 Day is Villanova's first-ever day of giving. This is our opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world. Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends—let's make a difference TOGETHER!
Our Goal
We need your help to reach 1,842 donors in 1,842 minutes, between 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 and 6:42 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 (EDT). Whether you give $5, $175 or $1,842, your generosity will count toward achieving our goal.
Villanova University Career Center
The Villanova University Career Center empowers students and alumni to explore professional opportunities and interests through a variety of methods, including individualized career planning, the Handshake career management system, on-campus career fairs, workshops and more. In addition, the Center maintains strong relationships with regional and national employers, with over 300 organizations visiting campus each year to recruit for full-time and internship positions.
The Career Center’s efforts are evident in Villanova’s successful placement rates: For the Class of 2016, 96.5 percent of graduates were employed, in graduate school or engaged in other opportunities such as military service or volunteer programs within six months of Commencement.
Your gift will enable the Career Center team to further enhance offerings, including face-to-face and digital resources, and guide students and alumni to fulfilling and successful careers in an ever-changing employment landscape.
