Gifts to the Central Annual Scholarship Fund make an immediate impact on the lives of our students by providing them with the opportunity to earn a CMU education. Last fiscal year, CMU awarded over 13.1 million dollars in scholarships to our students. The Central Annual Scholarship Fund helps fill this need for our students.

“I came to Central Methodist to play soccer and earn a criminal justice degree. My world was rocked when I took a criminal justice introductory class and realized it wasn’t a good fit for me. Luckily, I have a great advisor who encouraged me to take my time choosing a major and to enroll in more introductory classes to learn about different fields. Introduction to Nursing was engaging and fun from the very beginning. The new Thogmorton Center for Allied Health provides a hands-on learning environment where I tend to learn at my best. The Central Annual Scholarship Fund
Tuition alone has never covered the costs of private higher education. The university counts on annual charitable donations from alumni and friends to provide scholarships to deserving students. Your support does so much more than provide exceptional educational experiences; it is an investment in the lives of our students so that they can pursue their dreams.
The 1854 Society
Members of the 1854 Society support the Central Annual Scholarship fund with an annual gift of $1,000 or more. Members are invited to exclusive events and round-table discussions with President Drake. 1854 Society members also receive The Societas newsletter. The 1854 Society is comprised of a group of individuals that are committed to Central's success.
