At Notre Dame Day (April 23 – 24), the CBEGSO has the opportunity to earn a portion of $1 Million! Make a $10 gift, and receive 5 votes to cast. The total number of votes we receive decides our percentage of the $1 Million. Based on last year's vote count, each vote is approximately worth 12$, meaning that your 10$ donation would generate 60$ revenue for our club! Donations are applied to...
1) The Annual CBEGSO Symposium, which allows us showcase our graduate research, promoting intra-departmental collaborations, and networking with professionals from industry and academia. 2) An annual Retreat to welcome new graduate students and to celebrate a year of hard work! 3) Biweekly Coffee Social, because coffee and conversation drive our research! 4) Professional development awards (e.g. research and travel grants), as well as social activities (e.g. intramural sports).
Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Graduate Student Organization
Our goal is to facilitate communication and collaboration, encourage professional development, and support Notre Dame Chemical Engineering graduate students as they become leaders in industry and academia.
Why are donations necessary?
Fundraising events like #NDday are crucial to sustain and grow our organization. Our primary operational expense is our centerpiece event, the annual graduate student research symposium. We hope to build upon the successes of our previous symposia, and expand this event to provide more opportunities for students to network with industry leaders, keynote speakers, as well as alumni from our PhD program.
