The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. During this exciting time, our org. has the unique opportunity to earn a portion of a $1 Million! Make a $10 gift on Notre Dame Day (April 23 – 24), and receive 5 votes to cast. The total number of votes we receive decides our percentage of the $1 Million. Please vote for us!

As of now, there has been no confirmed application of the money. Current ideas include purchasing a parking spot in the stadium lot for CGSO sponsored football tailgating, improved funding for our outreach events (like Paradigm Shift), or applying the donations towards the IMPACT lecture series. Chemistry: the final frontier. This is the research of the CGSO organization. Its continuing mission: To facilitate communication; To encourage professional development; To boldly reach out to communities where no other chemist has gone before.
Why are donations necessary?
To accomplish our missions we would like to expand our organization to help support our graduate students. This requires us to secure funding to provide our graduate students with: 1) Coverage of all the CGSO students ACS fees 2) Start and continue supporting events that foster camaraderie within and beyond the department 3) Encourage professional development award opportunities within the department.
