Send Collegiate DECA to the 2017 International Competition

Twelve of our Collegiate DECA members at Oakland University have qualified for the 2017 International Competition in Anaheim, California, in April. We are raising funds to provide travel, lodging, conference fees and other related expenses to allow all of our qualifiers the opportunity to attend the International Competition and compete on behalf of OU. Your generosity is sincerely appreciated.

Collegiate DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in various business fields around the globe. DECA encourages professional growth by presenting students with a business case study competition, in which problem solving skills are utilized to determine the student’s ability to analyze and apply business concepts to the situation. DECA allows Oakland University students to compete with collegiate chapters around the world, and to present to business professionals internationally. This opportunity provides both OU and our students a chance to excel in their business ideas.

With your help, all twelve of our qualifying students will be able to attend the International Competition in Anaheim, California. Donations will be used towards flights, lodging, and transportation for the competition.

Why are donations necessary?

Your donation will assist with providing the necessary funding to send our twelve qualifying students to this year’s International Competition, which takes place April 18 – 22 in Anaheim, California.
