What is the Dean's Excellence Fund?
The Dean’s Excellence Fund is a great way to make an immediate and thoughtful impact on the College of Science and Engineering. This discretionary fund gives the dean the flexibility to direct support to areas where resources might be limited. The goal is to have a $50,000 fund balance that will allow the college leadership to respond to the unforeseen needs of ISU students and programs.
Contributions have been used to support scholarships, equipment updates, class projects, professional development, and outreach activities like Bengal Stem Day.

Your contributions are making an impact on students right now. Christina Mottishaw, a biochemistry major, described her experience: "When I applied for scholarships at ISU, I was awarded enough to quit my job and focus on my studies, a privilege I thought I would never achieve." Christina has been able to join research teams and maximize what she has learned in the classroom through practice in the lab. She credits her growth in large part to the generosity of donors like you: "I wish to thank all those who have helped me to get to where I am now.
