About the Divinity School
The Divinity School has been a part of Vanderbilt University since its inception. It is one of the few university-based, interdenominational schools for the preparation of ministers and the oldest one in the South. The Divinity School offers two primary degrees--the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.). Divinity graduates serve as parish ministers, social justice advocates, chaplains, and educators across the globe.

How gifts are used
We allocate our annual fund contributions to meet our greatest need — student scholarships.
The most troubling obstacle many of our students face on their path toward their calling is the amount of debt many of them will incur from undergraduate as well as graduate education. Nearly 99 percent of our students rely on scholarship assistance. Your gift can help. It combines with the gifts of others to create scholarship opportunities that enable our students to focus on their vision and pursue a viable career wherever their calling leads.
