The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Our most popular feature is our Daily Gospel Reflection—readers can sign up to receive an email that arrives every morning that contains the day's Gospel reading, a short reflection written by someone in the ND family, a brief prayer from a Holy Cross priest, and a link to read more about the saint of the day. The email currently reaches more than 61,000 people—it is open to anyone and comes with no solicitations or obligations. (Sign up for free at faith.nd.edu.) FaithND also connects the ND family to the Grotto. Anyone can submit a prayer request through the faith.nd.edu website and someone will respond to the request and offer that prayer in person at the Grotto within a week. *** We are excited to announce our participation in Notre Dame Day, when the global Notre Dame family will come together to celebrate what each of us loves most about the University.
