The Fencing Society of Oakland University is a club sport dedicated to building the fencing community. It is a proud member club of the Midwestern Fencing Conference and competes in regular tournaments throughout the fencing season.

Fencing is an equipment intensive sport and a good amount of our funding goes towards maintenance and new equipment costs especially as the club grows. The end of the year conference championships are being held in Rhode Island at Brown University, this is the largest cost on top of tournament fees and anything to help offset this will be a great help to the Fencing Society of Oakland University.

As a club sport we are expected to be self sustaining and self funded with the school supplementing us.
