The Fifth Third Trading Center is a state-of-the-art trading, research, and teaching facility, located in the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. The primary objective of the Fifth Third Trading Center is to increase the quality of the academic experience within the Williams College of Business by giving our students an opportunity for experiential learning while empowering our faculty with state-of-the-art technology and teaching tools. We offer our students a real world experience that provides them with a unique skill set.
Education, education, and more education! Your gifts to the Fifth Third Trading Center will positively affect the aspirations of students so they can reach their fullest potential in the classroom, in their communities, and in the financial industry. Thanks to your donation, we can continue to provide our students with access to one of the world’s largest installations of Bloomberg LP financial software – the standard on Wall Street and throughout the global financial industry. The gifts will also allow us to continue the Trading Center Internship Program. Interns specialize in the financial software programs in the Trading Center and share their knowledge by hosting educational sessions with Xavier students, local high school students, and members of the business community. In addition, did you hear about the incredibly successful Matthew McCormick Cincinnati Investment Symposium that we hosted in January? Over 180 students and business professionals gathered in the Cintas Center to honor Matt McCormick and his legacy of educating, mentoring, and molding finance students into the best young professionals they could be. Your gift will help us make the annual symposium an even bigger and better event in the future!
We have big plans but we are also on a tight budget. We know that the Fifth Third Trading Center is a hub for education at Xavier University and the greater Cincinnati community. The experiential learning completed in the center is constant and we are aiming to expand our knowledge to educate additional students and our local business community members. We will use your donations wisely to plan, promote, and execute our plans. Remember, GIVING IS A GIFT.
