This fall, student-athletes and coaches from Southwest Minnesota State University will be performing four hours of community service for people in Marshall. Much of this work will consist of raking leaves and doing yard work. This community service project will be provided to people who are unable to do their own lawn care. Proceeds from the Workathon will help supplement our athletic budgets while providing a free service to our local community. Pledges made on behalf of a student-athlete or coach will go to their respective sport. Your tax deductible gift may be made online via this donation page. If you would like more information on how to give offline visit smsumustangs.com/workathon. Thank you for your much needed support. We believe this activity will benefit the community as well as our student-athletes.
“The SMSU Football team will be servicing a large portion of Marshall on Sunday, November 5th at 1pm. Please consider making a donation to this year’s Work-a-thon to help create an enhanced experience for our student-athletes. All money raised will go towards offsetting travel expenses. Thank you for your support of our program!”
Donations from this go to help alleviate operation budget costs that the SMSU football team incurs throughout the season (meals, court fees, lodging, etc.)
