Vandal Scholarship Fund
The goal of the Vandal Boosters, Inc., through its membership program known as the Vandal Scholarship Fund, is to fund all of the student-athlete scholarships awarded by the Department of Athletics at the University of Idaho. Vandal Athletics is committed to enhancing the visibility and image of the University by developing and maintaining competitive integrity based athletic programs, uniting students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community and educating and graduating student-athletes.
Where Memberships, Become Scholarships
The Vandal Scholarship Fund provides scholarship and program support for all 16 intercollegiate athletic programs. 100% of your donation to the VSF will go towards tuition for our outstanding student-athletes. Dollars raised by the VSF go directly back to the University of Idaho by paying for tuition and fees for our student-athletes. Every dollar goes back to the colleges and units where our student-athletes are pursuing their world-class education.

Philanthropic support is the lifeblood of every intercollegiate athletics program and the Vandal Scholarship Fund is the cornerstone of Vandal Athletics. The accomplishments of our department come from the generosity of our donors and it is important for you to know how vital a role you play. VSF memberships give our student-athletes the opportunity to continue on their path to excellence. When you make an annual gift to the VSF, you show Idaho student-athletes that you believe in them. People like you – who care about Vandal Athletics – provide Idaho student-athletes the best experience in competition, in the classroom and in the community. Our number one goal is to fully fund the VSF by 2017, an annual cost of $3.4 million. With our annual scholarship obligation having increased 46% or $1 million over the past five years, the support of each and every VSF member is more important than ever.
