Description

The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 24 at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. Support the Gender Studies Program and follow the celebration on social media with #NDday.

Donations are applied to...

Gender Studies offers numerous extracurricular opportunities for our students, such as our book club, independent research, and Through Gendered Lenses, a publication edited by members of Triota, the national gender studies honor society. Gender Studies also organizes many gender-related events for the campus community, including conferences, guest speakers, and Loyal Daughters and Sons, an annual performance produced by our students about gender, sexuality, and sexual assault at Notre Dame.

Gender Studies Program

Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary academic program in the College of Arts and Letters at Notre Dame. Students and faculty associated with the Gender Studies Program analyze the significance of gender—and the cognate subjects of sex, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, religion, age, and nationality—in all areas of human life, especially in the social formation of human identities, practices, and institutions. Learn more at genderstudies.nd.edu.

Why are donations necessary?

Our budget is limited, so we could use your support in keeping our current initiatives strong and meaningful. We would love to develop some new initiatives also, such as a film series centered on gender, and your support would help greatly with that. Thanks so much for your commitment to Gender Studies!
