The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 24 at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. GlobeMed@ND is a social justice club that helps promote health equity for all through weekly meetings and discussions, direct work with our partner PEDA in Laos through summer internships and year-long communication, and engagement with all of the 54 GlobeMed chapters across the nation. We are so excited to be participating in ND Day and would love your votes and support!
Why are donations necessary?
All donations help our development partner, PEDA , with their malaria eradication efforts in Laos. They work in rural villages outside the capital of Vientiane to provide supplies, educational resources and support against malaria. Our fundraising goal of $10,000 helps support this project and each summer, we send a team of 3-5 club members to aid in the implementation of this project and check progress. Every donation helps and we thank you for your support!
