Description
The Georgia Tech Athletic Association has identified $2 million in immediate improvements allocated for GT Football as part of the Athletic Director's Initiative Fund. As with any Power 5 program, football revenue is a critical financial driver for the GTAA overall budget. Georgia Tech has maintained a consistent, successful program under the leadership of Coach Paul Johnson, and we must ensure our investment in football is on par with our competitors while staying true to the values and spirit of Georgia Tech.
Recruiting Unit
The resources poured into Power 5 football have grown exponentially, with significant emphasis on staff assigned to scouting and recruiting. We must have the personnel, technology and resources to identify the special young men who fit the Georgia Tech student-athlete profile. A portion of initiative dollars will be allocated to fund new full-time staff positions to identify and recruit the student-athletes that can thrive in the Tech culture and compete at the highest level athletically, academically and professionally.

There are very few places where a world-renowned education is paired with Power 5 athletics, where student-athletes can compete for championships at the highest possible level and earn a degree that will provide them a lifetime of success.
