The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 24 at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Harper Cancer Research Institute
Every family is impacted by cancer. At HCRI, researchers from across the University of Notre Dame are dedicated to conducting innovative and integrative research that confronts the complex challenges of cancer. By forming effective interdisciplinary collaborations, teams are using this novel insight to detect, understand and treat the many forms of this disease in new and previously unexplored ways. Young scientists (undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs) represent the next generation of cancer researchers and work hand-in-hand with faculty to test fundamental questions and improve scientific discoveries. By continuous immersion in hands-on, real world cancer research, these trainees are fully equipped to become future cancer research leaders. At HCRI, we are changing the way we fight cancer at Notre Dame and beyond.
Why are donations necessary?
Every penny raised by the Harper Cancer Research Institute on Notre Dame Day will go directly to the labs. This gives our researchers the opportunity to explore additional avenues to their research which they wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. Remember, research cures cancer. Help us in this fight!
