The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. On Monday, April 24, at 7:46pm, tune into the ND Day live broadcast as HCRI Director, Dr. Sharon Stack and Dr. Steve Gruber, Director of the Norris Cancer Center at USC, talk about their collaboration projects in cancer research and their Rivals for a Cure campaign. Why are donations necessary?
Because research cures cancer. Every penny raised during Notre Dame Day directly benefits student research projects. In 2016, Notre Dame Graduate student Ann Zeleniak's project received funding from the money raised by HCRI during Notre Dame Day. Because of Notre Dame Day, Zeleniak was able to explore different avenues of her research that were previously unavailable because of lack of funding. Help fund the next brilliant idea, getting us one step closer to a cure.
