About 1842 Day
1842 Day is Villanova's first-ever day of giving. This is our opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world. Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends—let's make a difference TOGETHER!
Our Goal
We need your help to reach 1,842 donors in 1,842 minutes, between 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 and 6:42 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 (EDT). Whether you give $5, $175 or $1,842, your generosity will count toward achieving our goal.
LEVEL and Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) strives to eliminate physical and educational barriers so all students have equal access to the Villanova experience. Through the Office’s efforts, students are able to participate freely and actively in all facets of University life. More than 200 students are registered with ODS each year.
ODS also oversees LEVEL, a popular student organization that aims to bridge the gap between students of various abilities. LEVEL strives to make daily interactions inclusive and to raise able-ism awareness at Villanova and beyond, targeting academics, social interaction, mindsets and physical barriers.
As Villanova continues to be identified as an inclusive environment for college-bound students with disabilities, ODS resources will be all the more crucial. Your gift on 1842 Day will support the mission to “LEVEL the Playing Field” at Villanova!
