The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. During this exciting time, we have the unique opportunity to earn a portion of $1 Million! Make a $10 gift this NDday and receive 5 votes to cast towards Lewis: the total number of votes we receive decides our percentage of the $1 Million! Please spread the word and help us earn votes! What will your donation accomplish?
Last ND Day, Lewis received a little over $3,000 of the $1 Million: this went towards purchasing new kitchen appliances, purchasing new common space televisions, and other miscellaneous, small hall improvements. This year, our goal is to receive $12,000 of the $1 Million, and we have much more specific improvements that we want to make within our hall. Specifically, our aims are as follows: If we raise $1,000, the money will go towards purchasing a pool table and ping pong table for the Party Room! If we raise $2,000, the money will go towards giving some much needed TLC to our Courtyard! If we raise $3,000, the money will go towards purchasing more appliances for all of our kitchens! If we raise $5,000, the money will go towards various improvements to our Exercise Room! If we raise $10,000, the money will go towards various improvements to our Party Room! If we raise $12,000, the money will go towards implementing some of the various aforementioned upgrades, and as an added incentive, our rector Rachelle will buy a dog! (no ND Day funds will actually be used to buy or take care of the dog though - he would just be an added bonus for us all here in the Lew ☺)

The chicks of Lewis Hall are excited to announce our participation in Notre Dame Day, when the global Notre Dame family will come together to celebrate what each of us loves most about the University. We hope that you tune in, take action, and vote to help fund the great work that we do here in the coop!
Why donate at all?
We need your help now more than ever if we want to accomplish the goals we have set for next year! Furthermore, Residential Halls are at the core of the Notre Dame mission to holistically educate the mind, body, and spirit of its students. This year in 2017, we celebrate the 45th year of coeducation at Notre Dame and the beginning of the sisterhood of Lewis Hall: a small donation from you would make a huge difference as we continue to grow in this sisterhood together. Your donation will help to support Lewis Hall's programming and various other initiatives to make our hall a better home!
