About 1842 Day

1842 Day is Villanova's first-ever day of giving. This is our opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world. Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends—let's make a difference TOGETHER!

Our Goal

We need your help to reach 1,842 donors in 1,842 minutes, between 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 and 6:42 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 (EDT). Whether you give $5, $175 or $1,842, your generosity will count toward achieving our goal.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is an annual event where the Villanova community comes together to improve lives, bridge social barriers and pursue Dr. King’s vision of the “Beloved Community.” Each year, volunteers perform service at more than 25 sites throughout the Greater Philadelphia area including daycares, schools, recreation centers, homeless shelters and more.

Your gift to the MLK Day of Service on 1842 Day will provide resources for transportation and supplies so that Villanova volunteers can ignite change in our local communities.

Your Impact

Your contributions will result in more dollars for our students and programs, strengthen our national reputation and bolster the unprecedented success of For the Greater Great®: The Villanova Campaign to Ignite Change.

Thanks To Our Recent Donors!
