About this Campaign

Support Matteo Ricci College Seattle U Gives!

Your gift supports

The Matteo Ricci Dean's Fund for Excellence assists the dean with student emergency needs and allows the College to participate in innovative opportunities, such as engaging speakers, and providing academic resources for faculty teaching and scholarship. Gifts to MRC support the following:

Student retention — deserving students can recover more easily from personal setbacks

Faculty retention and recruitment — recognizing faculty by supporting their work, and allowing for conference participation

Academic community — bringing in speakers who can have an impact on the College community and encourage creative thinking.

The impacts of your gift

Last year one of our students suffered a serious personal misfortune in which their laptop, clothing, and school supplies were destroyed. The dean was able to assist the student and provide a replacement laptop and educational supplies so that the student could continue their studies without interruption. Imagine your gift in action:

$1000 — bring a distinguished speaker to campus

$500 — help a student to attend the College’s study abroad program in France

$250 — buy tickets for a class to attend a theater performance with their professor

$100 — buy materials for a faculty reading group

$50 — assist a student to pay for books
