The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Please spread the word and help us earn votes! Follow the celebration on social media with #NDday. Each vote that we get earns us a share of a $1 Million fund that we are then allocated for dorm enrichment, based on our percentage of the total votes. For last year, this effectively multiplied any donations by a factor of 6!

Morrissey Manor
Having already spent 91 years towering above the rest, we are looking forward to continuing our reign over the Gold Coast, South Quad, and really all of campus. While we know that we are the best dorm on campus, by adding new signature events and further strengthening the friendships in the Manor, we hope to really let the rest of campus know how strong the community in the Manor is. As well, this is our last year in "Old Morrissey" before massive internal renovations, so we'd love to close out the year with a big event in conjunction with past Manorites and friends of the Manor.
Why are donations necessary?
Morrissey is given a limited budget to work with each year, and because of this, we must weigh the pros and cons of each event we host. With our new rector, Zack Imfeld, we have adapted the mantra, "Everything We Do, We Do It BIG" and so wish to really do it big. This has allowed us to host 1000 people over our dances during the year, cook hundreds of pounds of chicken wings, burgers, and brats, and more than 40 trays of s'mores for our new signature Wednesday Mass, S'Morrissey Mass. We were also able to start a new Brotherhood Retreat off campus, with over a third of the dorm attending in its inaugural year. Most recently, we took over 60 guys to Opening Day for the South Bend Cubs, enjoying a great baseball game, unlimited barbecue, and a fireworks show afterwards. Without donations, very little of this would have been possible, and certainly not affordable on a student budget. Please know that any donations made allow us to continue great events such as these, and continue to innovate. In the fall, we are looking to close out our annual dorm-wide spirit week with a campus wide game watch and food on South Quad.
