Notre Dame Center for Nano Science & Technology (NDnano)

We are excited to announce NDnano's participation in Notre Dame Day, when the global Notre Dame family will come together to celebrate what each of us loves most about the University. Over the past 30 years, significant advances in scientific imaging, analysis, synthesis, and manipulation of atoms and molecules have enabled the field of nano science to become the primary driving force for technological change in the world. Notre Dame recognized the importance of nano research early on and has been a leader in the field ever since. With some of the best facilities and researchers in a wide range of disciplines, including nanomaterials, nanoelectronics, nanomedicine, and bioengineering, Notre Dame is helping to design and build technologies that improve lives the world over.

About NDnano

The Notre Dame Center for Nano Science and Technology (NDnano) is a multi-disciplinary organization with more than 60 faculty affiliates from the Colleges of Science and Engineering who explore and harness the properties of atomic- and molecular-sized materials in support of electronic, diagnostic, biomedical, and energy applications. With expertise in a truly impressive breadth of processes, material types, and characterization tools and techniques, Notre Dame researchers are proactively collaborating across traditional boundaries to define innovative and responsible solutions to global problems.

How your gifts help

Gifts to the Center would support any number of needs, including laboratories, critical research being performed across campus, a collaboration center focused on promoting interdisciplinary research across the University, fellowships for summer undergraduate researchers, young investigator awards, or an annual lecture series.

We have the opportunity to earn a portion of $1 Million!

In addition to your generous gifts, we have the chance to share in $1 million. Simply make a $10 gift on Notre Dame Day (April 24 – 25), and receive 5 votes to cast. The total number of votes we receive decides our percentage of the $1 Million. Please vote for NDnano!
