NOTRE DAME DAY 2016 offers two exciting components -- 1) A live online broadcast offering fun, exciting, and inspiring content about the University we love, and 2) An opportunity to support University causes close to your heart - like our local scholarship fund! - through a fundraiser that augments your gift with a share of a $1 million prize pool. The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 24 at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. **The Notre Dame Club of Greater Cincinnati Endowed Scholarship Fund** Notre Dame Day offers the easiest way ever to support the ND Cincy scholarship endowment because our donations will be supplemented by a portion of the $1 Million ND Day prize pool, based on how many votes we receive. Make a $10 gift on Notre Dame Day (April 24 – 25), and receive 5 votes to cast. The total number of votes we receive will determine the percentage of the $1 Million that will be awarded to our scholarship fund. AND -- YOU CAN EVEN DIRECT YOUR INITIAL $10 TO OUR SCHOLARSHIP FUND, WHICH WILL HELP EVEN MORE! Then remember to vote for our scholarship fund with some or all of your votes.

ND CINCY is excited to be a part of the 2016 Notre Dame Day! It will be great fun to watch the 29-hour broadcast and see so many fun ND snippets - PLUS - it is a chance to grow our ND Club of Greater Cincinnati Endowed Scholarship Fund. With the modest investment of $10 from many individuals, our donors will receive votes that they can then use to help us earn a share of the $1 Million prize pool.
Why are donations necessary?
We are proud to have one of the oldest and largest Alumni Club Scholarship Funds at Notre Dame, with an endowment of more than $2 million. But with more than 150 local undergraduates at ND and the total cost of attending in the range of $65,000/yr., our local students are incurring more than $9,750.000 a year in tuition, room, board, and other fees. Clearly, our fund could never be big enough to address all the unmet need. Participating in ND Day is a fun and easy way to help!
