NOTRE DAME DAY 2017 offers two exciting components -- 1) A live online broadcast offering fun, exciting, and inspiring content about the University we love, and 2) An opportunity to support University causes close to your heart – LIKE OUR ND CINCY SCHOLARSHIP FUND! -- through a fundraiser that augments your gift with a share of a $1 million prize pool. The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on Sunday, April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Please spread the word and help us earn votes! Ask your friends and family to support ND Cincy and use social media to generate more excitement using hashtags #vote4ndcincy17 and #NDDay.
All funds raised for the Notre Dame Club of Greater Cincinnati will go DIRECTLY to our ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND for Greater Cincinnati undergraduates at Notre Dame – including students from parts of Southeastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky. **When making your donation, PLEASE ALLOCATE IT TO THE CINCINNATI CLUB SCHOLARSHIP FUND (note that this is not the automatic default this year!)** We are currently able to provide about $135,000 in renewable financial aid annually to between 25-40 students, who are selected based on merit. The number of partial scholarships varies each year and the amount of each award is also variable (generally ranging between $500 and $6,000 per year) depending on many factors, including financial need. Your support will help stellar Cincinnati-area students attend Notre Dame and go on to become a force for good in the world.
We are proud to have one of the oldest and largest Alumni Club Scholarship Funds at Notre Dame, with an endowment of more than $2 million and annual awards of approximately $135,000. But with 151 Greater Cincinnati undergraduates at ND and the 2017-2018 total cost of attendance slated to be $69,395, our local students will face a combined total of $10,478,645 in tuition, room, board, and other fees next year. Clearly, our vigorous fundraising must continue – and the chance to compete for “free money” from the ND Day prize and bonus pools makes it a fun and easy way to help!
