The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Funds raised through ND Day will help supplement the costs associated with implementing social, networking, and professional development events and activities intended to help members grow and thrive. During this exciting time, we have the unique opportunity to earn a portion of a $1 Million! Make a $10 gift on Notre Dame Day (April 23 – 24), and receive 5 votes to cast. The total number of votes we receive decides our percentage of the $1 Million. Please vote for us!
Notre Dame Employee Resource Groups
Sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and in support of the University's Diversity & Inclusion strategic plan, employee resource groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups created by a shared characteristic, interest or life experience. These groups promote community by providing connectivity and support for particular populations of employees, as well as to assist the University with recruitment, retention, and educational activities. Current groups include Young Leaders of Notre Dame (youngleaders.nd.edu), THRIVE! Inspiring ND Women (womenthrive.nd.edu), Black Faculty and Staff Association, and Spectrum (LGBTQA). The formation of a Hispanic group, International group and Veterans group are also currently being finalized as well. ERGs are inclusive and will open its doors to any employee passionate about opportunities impacting the target audience of the group. We are excited to announce our participation in Notre Dame Day, when the global Notre Dame family will come together to celebrate what each of us loves most about the University.
Why are donations necessary?
The University funds available to ERGs are limited and we want to ensure we are trying everything in our power to increase the funds available to ERGs in order to host events that will assist in the growth of our members and ultimately promote a community that every individual feels comfortable working in!
