The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 24 at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. This year is the second year in which we have the opportunity to participate in the $1 Million Challenge. This is a competition between the various clubs on campus to earn votes which determine the portion of the $1 million that we receive. The money that we earn this year could go towards many exciting opportunities and events for our choir, including an international tour and new robes. Women's Liturgical Choir is an important part of the Notre Dame experience for many of our choirmembers, and any money we can earn through Notre Dame Day will only make this experience better! We hope you choose to donate to us.
Notre Dame Women's Liturgical Choir
The Notre Dame Women's Liturgical Choir is comprised of 50 women who perform a varied repertoire of the highest quality, including chant, Renaissance polyphony and music from the 18th through 20th century. The choir is responsible for providing music at the Saturday Vigil Mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, including the mass after Notre Dame home football games. In addition, the Women's Liturgical Choir sings at a variety of other Masses and services through the school year.
