The Oakland University Chorale is hoping to go on a once in a lifetime European Concert Tour in the summer of 2017. As many of our group members will go on to be professional singers, it is important to experience the culture in Europe, and experience the performance standards in the places where so much of our great music was created. Future educators in the group can use these experiences to add to their lessons, and teach from their real life experiences. But, most of all, the Oakland University Chorale hopes that this experience of doing what we love with our friends will launch us into a whole new outlook on life, thanks to you, our generous donors.

Your generous donations will go towards the expenses for The Oakland Chorale's 2017 European Concert Tour. This will include the expenses for airfare, lodging, travel between cities, some meals, sightseeing tours, and a once in a lifetime experience.

The Oakland Chorale would like to thank you for all of your support. Without you, we would not be able to dream about going on this experience of a lifetime. Any donation made is an incredible help to our overall goal.
On this concert tour, the Chorale will spend their time over 10 days touring many locations across Europe, including Venice, Vienna, Slovenia, and Croatia. We plan to take tours of each location as we arrive, and learn about the culture, as well as have time to explore on our own. We will spend time rehearsing in each performance space before concerts, and have a group dinner after each performance. The Oakland University Chorale is a group of full time college students who are working towards their careers as performers and educators. Their dedication to their schoolwork and the cost of living leave the students with some time to fundraise, but unfortunately, not enough time to take 30 students to Europe without help. The students are already working fundraisers weekly and brainstorming new ideas daily. Your donation could be the one that branches out to others, or brings us to the next step in our fundraising endeavors.
