The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Pasquerilla East Musical Company (PEMCo)
As the only group on campus solely devoted to musical theatre, PEMCo is entirely student-run and composed of people who come together for the sole purpose of creating work about which we are passionate. PEMCo stages a minimum of three productions each year: two full-scale musicals and one musical revue. We also regularly host events such as cabarets, which allow anyone who is interested to perform without auditioning and aim to strengthen the inclusiveness of the performing arts on campus. PEMCo consistently aims to explore what musical theatre and the arts as a whole can mean and to spread that meaning across campus.
Why are donations necessary?
During the 2017-2018 school year, PEMCo has the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our 20th anniversary as a club! We would love to honor PEMCo's history and the people who helped us get to where we are as a club today by hosting a reunion event on campus this year. We recognize the importance of remembering our roots, and we would love your help in doing so. Additionally, PEMCo hopes to raise enough money this year to be able to afford new microphones in order to allow audiences to better hear all the hard work and rehearsal our members put into their performances. We also aim to implement more workshops as part of our club's season in order to help our members grow as performers and technicians. In order to maximize the potential quality of such workshops and of our productions throughout the year, we would appreciate any donations you are able to make!
