What is the Phoenix Regional Scholarship?
Originally started by the Phoenix Alumni Chapter, this regional scholarship is an endowed fund that supports students with financial need from the Phoenix area. This support provides access to a Gonzaga education and welcomes Zags from Arizona.
We love our Arizona Zags
Each year, more than 150 students from the Phoenix region apply to Gonzaga. During the 2016-17 academic year, two grateful Zags received the Phoenix Regional Scholarship, which made their dream of attending Gonzaga a reality. It is our goal to increase this endowment and provide this opportunity to more deserving students. $2,500 creates a scholarship for one Phoenix Zag.
The Zags are taking over Phoenix !
For the first time in University history, the Gonzaga men’s basketball team is headed to the Final Four®. In celebration of such an achievement and in honor of Phoenix hosting us on the national stage, we look to shine light on some incredible Zags that call the greater Phoenix area home.
It is the scholarship support they receive that makes their Gonzaga experience possible – scholarship supporters are truly what propel Zags forward, both on and off the court.
