The Notre Dame Pom Squad is a non-competitive athletic club composed of students of the University of Notre Dame and St. Mary’s College. The club is a uniquely student-led team, organized through Notre Dame Student Activities Office and RecSports. The mission of the Pom Squad is to increase Notre Dame spirit at athletic, campus and community events. The Pom Squad performs during football pep rallies, Men’s home basketball games, and select soccer and Women’s basketball games. Additionally, the club supports various campus and community events, performing annually at the Dillon Pep Rally, Bookstore Basketball Championships, and Welsh-Fam Dance Fest to name a few. The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 23rd at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. Why are donations necessary?
The Notre Dame Pom Squad is officially funded through an allocation from the Student Activities Office (SAO) which covers less than 10% of our annual costs for uniforms and equipment. Personal donations and fundraising cover the remainder of our need. This year, in order to comply with Notre Dame's licensing policies, we are retiring two uniforms. We would love to replace them but need your help to do so!
