About 1842 Day
1842 Day is Villanova's first-ever day of giving. This is our opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world. Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends—let's make a difference TOGETHER!
Our Goal
We need your help to reach 1,842 donors in 1,842 minutes, between 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 and 6:42 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 (EDT). Whether you give $5, $175 or $1,842, your generosity will count toward achieving our goal.
Provost's Fund for Strategic Initiatives
At the helm of the University’s academic enterprise, the Office of the Provost drives innovation and collaboration, ensuring Villanova’s continued excellence. As the University’s chief academic officer, the Provost builds upon Villanova’s existing strengths to enhance learning opportunities and career outcomes.
Deans of the University’s six schools and colleges report directly to the University Provost. In addition, the Office of the Provost brings together many of Villanova’s interdisciplinary initiatives and resources.
The Provost’s Fund for Strategic Initiatives provides the Provost with the flexibility and freedom to allocate resources to strategic initiatives and programs beyond what is possible with budgeted funds. Your gift on 1842 Day will support academic growth and discovery at all levels of the University.
