Support Athletics during Seattle U Gives!
Gifts to Seattle U Athletics provide a championship caliber student-athlete experience that supports whole-person development in the Jesuit tradition while inspiring professional formation.
The Athletics Department is the Seattle University mission in action. Athletics is a key component of the Jesuit philosophy of educating the whole person - body, mind, spirit. Through participation in intercollegiate athletics, student-athletes live the mission. Since our return to Division I in 2012 we have:
33 conference champions
5 NCAA Tournament appearances
2 national postseason tournament appearances in men’s basketball
3 men’s basketball postseason wins (Pepperdine, Colorado, Idaho)
1 national Academic All-American of the Year in women’s soccer (2015)
4 Academic All-Americans
3.2+ all student-athlete cumulative GPA
None of this would be possible without your support!
The leadership formation that occurs with Seattle University student-athletes ensures that graduates go on to be leaders in a vast array of professional endeavors. Former student-athletes can be found practicing law and medicine, managing corporations big and small, teaching in the classroom and continuing on in their sport at the professional level. Your gift today can be used immediately to support athletes.
