  • $ 2,021 spent on program support and equipment upgrades

What is the Dean's Excellence Fund?

The Dean’s Excellence Fund is a great way to make an immediate and thoughtful impact on the School of Health Professions. This discretionary fund gives the dean the flexibility to direct support to areas where resources might be limited. The goal is to have a $50,000 fund balance that will allow the college leadership to respond to the unforeseen needs of ISU students and programs.

Contributions have been used to support scholarships, equipment updates, class projects, professional development, and outreach activities.

For more information about the Dean’s Excellence Fund, please contact Collette Wixom-Call at (208) 282-2253 or wixocoll@isu.edu.

Help us continue the Kasiska tradition of creating scholarships for students in the School of Health Professions.

In the summer of 2016 the Division of Health Sciences was renamed the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences. The name change was made in honor of the Kasiska family and the decades of support they have provided for health related programs at ISU. Since 1987, over 4000 scholarships have been awarded to students within the Division of Health Sciences because of the Kasiskas. This year, the Dean's Excellence Fund for the School of Health Professions is gathering support to continue this tradition of scholarship creation.
