Siegfried Hall Retreat Program

Giving towards retreat experiences is an empowering and loving way to impact ND students. In honor of the Class of 1982's 35-year Reunion, the class seeks to develop the first endowed retreat program at the University. Funds generated from your gift and votes will benefit students and provide faith formation for decades to come. Your generosity will continuously pour love into the hearts of Notre Dame students.

Pour Love Into the Hearts of Notre Dame Students

There is a $1 Million Challenge Fund up for grabs, and you can give and vote to direct a portion of that to the Siegfried Hall Retreat Program that is funded by the Endowment for Excellence in Memory of Jake Scanlan.

Give, Vote & Share

Make your $10 gift and receive 5 votes to cast. You can choose to make your gift and put all your votes towards the Siegfried Hall Retreat Program, or any other area of the University that you love.

Then share the word with your family and friends. The Endowment for Excellence in Memory of Jake Scanlan will receive funds based on the percentage of votes received during Notre Dame Day.

Why Supporting the Siegfried Hall Retreat Program Matters

In November 2015, Jake Scanlan ’17, the son of two Class of 1982 alumni, Jerry and Janet Scanlan, passed away in his sleep in Siegfried Hall from an undetected heart condition. As disciples of Christ and graduates of Our Lady’s University, we are called to help others grow in their faith. Wanting to do something to bring good from this loss, classmates have come forward and created the Endowment for Excellence in Memory of Jake Scanlan. This endowment will provide funds to support annual faith development retreats for the men of Siegfried for years to come.
