McKenzie Jemmet, a speech pathology major describes the relief that scholarships gave her during her studies: "the financial support I received from numerous scholarships through FYI, Honors Program and a Graduate Teaching Assistant position helped me to not only focus on my studies and clinical experiences but to give back to my community in countless ways." Please consider her request: "On behalf of all who will benefit from your support, please consider a gift to the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences and supporting the future success of our professions. Your support not only helped me become who I am but will undoubtedly aide other students in their pursuit of their dreams as well."
The School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences accomplished great things last year. Alumni donated more than $10,000 to the Dean's Excellence Fund during the 2015-2016 annual Kasiska Division of Health Sciences campaign. Thank you for your support.
The Dean’s Excellence Fund is a great way to make an immediate and thoughtful impact on the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences. This discretionary fund gives the dean the flexibility to direct support to areas where resources might be limited. The goal is to have a $50,000 fund balance that will allow the college leadership to respond to the unforeseen needs of ISU students and programs.
Contributions have been used to support scholarships, equipment updates, class projects, professional development, and outreach activities.
