What is the Dean's Excellence Fund?
The Dean’s Excellence Fund is a great way to make an immediate and thoughtful impact on the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences. This discretionary fund gives the dean the flexibility to direct support to areas where resources might be limited. The goal is to have a $50,000 fund balance that will allow the college leadership to respond to the unforeseen needs of ISU students and programs.
Contributions have been used to support scholarships, equipment updates, class projects, professional development, and outreach activities.

McKenzie Jemmet, a speech pathology major describes the relief that scholarships gave her during her studies: "the financial support I received from numerous scholarships through FYI, Honors Program and a Graduate Teaching Assistant position helped me to not only focus on my studies and clinical experiences but to give back to my community in countless ways."
