The LIVE Notre Dame Day broadcast will kick-off at 18:42 pm ET (6:42 pm ET) on April 24 at NOTREDAMEDAY.ND.EDU. The 29-hour broadcast will showcase Notre Dame stories from around the world, as well as live interviews, special musical performances, remotes, in-studio performances and surprise celebrity guests. During this exciting time, we have the unique opportunity to earn a portion of a $1 Million! Make a $10 gift on Notre Dame Day (April 24 – 25), and receive 5 votes to cast. Not only will your $10 go to Stanford Hall but last year each vote counted for just under $15! So with a donation of just $10, you could contribute up to 6x to Stanford with your votes.
Stanford Hall
At this point, you might be asking, “Why should I vote for Stanford Hall? What will they even do with this money?” We have big plans for the upcoming year: We plan on making sure everyone knows and does not forget that Stanford is the best hall on campus by hosting a creative new signature event. We would like to throw a campus wide Crawfish Boil, featuring university music groups, distinctive cuisine and outdoor activities. We will donate proceeds to a dorm charity that the men of the Hall agree upon—likely the South Bend Center for the Homeless which has lately been the charity of choice. We would also like to build upon the great renovations that previous ND Days have allowed us to do by finishing the décor of the basement and improving the furniture in our third floor study lounge as well as new study lounges on the 2nd and 4th floors. We use some funds to continue our new Stanford Hall tradition, the Men of Virtue dinner, a night focused on educating and inspiring Stanford men with outstanding speakers on various dimensions of virtue. As you can see, we have some fairly lofty goals for the year to come; thus we need your support in order to complete our goals and maintain Stanford Hall as the magnificent dorm we all already know it to be, and to strengthen the spirit and morale of this new generation of residents.
