Personal Message

Thanks for contributing to the Student Emergency Fund! Your donation directly supports a Xavier student when they are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses due to an unexpected situation. When students experience an emergency expense and need a little financial assistance, your donation can make all the difference - like a buss pass to get to work, a flight home to visit a sick family member, or a new lock on an apartment door to keep them safe. Thanks for making a difference for a Xavier student!!

Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund provides emergency financial support to currently enrolled Xavier students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship related to an unexpected situation. This fund is an important tool to help students get over small hurdles and stay on track for success.

Donations are applied to...

Every dollar donated goes directly to a Xavier student in need. Typically, Xavier students receive anywhere from $50 - $500 to cover an unexpected emergency - like a flight home for a family illness, short-term rent assistance, or emergency room expenses not covered by insurance.

Why your donation matters...

Sometimes an unexpected expense - like a car repair, an injury, or family illness - can make it difficult to pay your bills, get to work, or stay on top of your coursework. The Student Emergency Fund helps students get through these temporary set-backs and back on course. It can make the difference in getting a student to graduation.
