Description

The University of Notre Dame operates an undergraduate program in Rome in conjunction with John Cabot University for students from the Colleges of Arts & Letters, Business, Science and Engineering. Rome is the Eternal City, where history and great art come alive. The Vatican, with its masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael, showcases the Pieta, the Bernini fountains, and the renaissance architecture of St. Peter's Basilica. Archeological sites where ancient cultures are uncovered abound. This is Rome, a vital European center for religion, business, film and art. In our increasingly connected world, Rome is an ideal place to study. As a student at John Cabot University (JCU), you will find yourself in one of the most stimulating environments available to any undergraduate anywhere in the world. The picturesque Trastevere neighborhood becomes the campus when school is in session. Students congregate in local cafes, or head to one of the local trattorias for a pizza, a panino, or a dish of pasta. An important part of attending JCU are the interactions with faculty, staff, and other students that take place outside the classroom.
