Description
A semester- or year-long program open to students in all majors, but particularly well suited for students in science and engineering. The program is offered through a bilateral exchange program with the National University of Singapore (NUS), a top-ranked and leading global university. NUS is a vibrant English-speaking comprehensive university with 16 faculties or schools. Notre Dame students may chose English-taught courses from a comprehensive list that is announced every year and is available online. Areas of study include arts/design, engineering, English, foreign languages, global studies, health, humanities, journalism, law, life sciences, other physical sciences, social sciences, sustainability, etc. Students live on campus in the “halls” with local and international students. Singapore, often referred to as the “little red dot,” is a bustling cosmopolitan city that offers a world-class living environment, with a landscape populated by high-rise buildings and gardens. It is a ubiquitous collage of cultures, with a vibrant multicultural population where people of different ethnic backgrounds and beliefs coexist.
