Why SWE?

Before even stepping on campus as students, young women engineers are invited to join our SWE community. Throughout their time on campus, SWE provides countless opportunities for these women to meet classmates, find mentors, practice leadership, impact the community, and develop professionally, empowering them to become the best young women that they can be. To learn more about what our club is up to, please visit our website at www3.nd.edu/~swe/.

Society of Women Engineers

WHO WE ARE: The Notre Dame section of the Society of Women Engineers is a group comprised of over 160 active members from all grade levels and engineering disciplines. We are part of a national organization that strives to stimulate women to achieve their fullest potential as engineers and leaders, expand the engineering profession image as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. Our organization puts on a variety of events throughout the year and works to create a community among the women engineers at Notre Dame.
