Donations are applied to...
During this exciting time, we have the unique opportunity to earn a portion of a $1 Million! By making a $10 gift or more on Notre Dame Day (April 23 – 24), you will receive 5 votes to cast to your favorite student organizations, including resident halls. The total number of votes we receive decides our percentage of the $1 Million. Walsh is an amazing community and strives to foster safety and inclusion, and any gifts we receive from ND Day will help support us as we continue to grow our Walsh love!

We are excited to announce our participation in Notre Dame Day, when the global Notre Dame family will come together to celebrate what each of us loves most about the University. The WILD women of Walsh Hall would like to thank you for your time and for your contributions to making Walsh Hall the wonderful home and community it is today. Why are donations necessary?
This year, we would like to use the funds received from Notre Dame Day to further subsidize our Walsh Overnight Retreat. This retreat has a different theme every year that focuses on strengthening love, support, and spirituality in the Walsh community by inviting girls to make new connections and explore their faith in a supportive environment. This is our largest, longest event of the year, with 80 participants, and it is created and implemented by students. Each year, the overnight fills up very quickly and generates a wait list, and while we are elated that so many want to share the love of Christ with each other, we want to be able to have enough beds to offer that experience to every resident of Walsh Hall at a low personal cost. With our share of the funds from ND Day, we hope to secure a larger facility and require a lower attendance fee for residents. http://walshnd.weebly.com/overnight-retreat.html In addition, this year we plan on starting a brand new Walsh tradition: WILD Women Weekend. Many other dorms sponsor successful weekends for family members to visit their students, with many fun activities including brunches, crafts, events, and more. This year we hope to begin planning our own weekend in honor of all of the influential women in our lives that helped to shape and form us. Your donations can help us turn this ambition into a reality and hopefully a long-lasting, Walsh tradition.
